David and I have been siblings ever since he was born. We also have an older brother, Eric, who is a dedicated play tester and support we can always count on.

Adventurous little children.
I started making art more intently in middle school. I used to really like drawing dragons, then I discovered Mark Crilley videos and my life was changed when he showed me the way of the realistic eye. I went through many an era, eventually finding my way as a fine arts major in undergrad and an animation masters student.
Similarly, I remember when a young David handed me his laptop, open to a window containing a barebones search-and-find game he coded from scratch. I remember thinking how did a little kid make this actual wizardry? Skip a few years, and he graduated with a computer science degree.
Keeps is not the first game David and I have developed together, but it is the first analog card game, and probably the best game (though to be fair its also the most nourished and developed).
Our first game, a mobile app called Bubble Divers, was created in the summer of 2020. This was our first experience working together, learning that we had complementary skill sets and very synergistic workflows. Our second game did not emerge far past the throes of the google doc brainstorming. Incredible concept; very ambitious. Our third game, Starby's Glow Coaster, was a full-fledged video game created in 48 hours (with two additional and very awesome team mates) as part of the FIEA Game Jam in 2025. We placed third in the professional division of the competition.
Creating with David is largely about the journey, but I can also always count on a high-quality final product that I am incredibly proud of. I am beyond grateful to have someone that I can work with in perfect harmonious tandem.
We currently live about two hours apart, working on Keeps in bursts every few weeks, but I try to visit often. Also because he lives with the family cats.🐱🐱
